We created a small art gallery in the classroom to display recent artwork. Initially, we drew a continuous line drawing of jungle leaves, next we studied a leaf under a microscope, then drew it in pen. Finally, we used oil pastels to draw a coloured image of a jungle leaf. All these drawings were created on backgrounds that we have designed using paint and rollers.
We found it scary to draw using pens, as we couldn't remove our mistakes, but we began to enjoy it as we relaxed a bit.
It was really nice to see everyone's work on display in the gallery.
