The girls’ team took part in the annual Coaching 4 Christ Cup at a bright, warm Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday 2nd May. The standard of competition was very high, with all teams showing terrific spirit and moments of individual brilliance. Our girls, a number of whom had not played in a competitive tournament before, quickly clicked into gear and finished second in their qualifying group before being narrowly beaten in the Quarter Finals.
A huge well done to all who took part today – we look forward to our next opportunity to take to the pitch!
