Today all the Eco committee members met to discuss the findings of the environmental review. We looked at all the 11 topics and chose 5 to focus on this year:
- Litter
- Energy
- Transport (all 3 above ongoing in Ballykeel)
- Biodiversity
- Healthy living (2 new topics)
The pupils put forward a variety of suggestions to the adults. We discussed which ones we thought were the best and agreed on different activities to carry out.
The next step is to write an action plan and meet again to amend and approve it.
The children loved this first meeting. Amy (P7H) took the minutes. We will publish them on the school website soon, as well as display them on our school Eco notice board.
