Ni Hao (that means hello in Chinese). In Nursery we have been having lots of fun getting ready for Chinese New Year and yesterday we celebrated the New Year of the pig by eating some Chinese food, making Chinese lanterns and we even watched some of the New Year parade to see the famous dragon puppet and lion dancers.
We used charcoal to try out some Chinese writing of our own too! We hope you like it.
We also got to take home our own Chinese money wallet which is traditionally given to celebrate the new year with an exciting chocolate gold coin inside!
