The Primary 7s recently attended the INOV8 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) event at Cullybackey College where we were entertained and astounded by Science Sue as she brought the science from 'How To Train Your Dragon' to life. Following this we took part in a STEM workshop where we had to construct bridges using paper straws, card and masking tape. Each bridge was tested for its structural effectiveness using increasingly heavy weights. Much fun was had throughout!
