Javelin fun on Chill Out Day (P5BE)

P5BE enjoyed a Chill Out day today for winning Class of the Month for attendance. During the day we got to play, watch a DVD and we also tried using javelins for the first time. Don’t worry mums and dads, these were made from foam so it wasn’t dangerous! Mrs Esler talked to us about the basic technique and we all saw how our distances improved as we went along. At the very end we had a battle to see who could throw the furthest - Johnathan and Lewis S from the boys, and Lacey A for the girls. Check out our photos and videos to see how we did.
