Miss McGlaughlin brought in her great, great granny’s butter churn. We used cream, salt and some milk straight from a farm that morning to make our butter. We had been learning about the progress of milk and dairy products as part of our farm theme so it was very exciting to see how butter is made. We all got to try some of the butter on crackers later on. The teachers enjoyed the butter too!
