Primary 3 have made an excellent start to term 3 after the Easter break. During a grammar lesson the children were learning when to use 'an' and 'a'. They now know that 'an' is used in front of a word that begins with a vowel and 'a' is used in front of all other words. Please keep reinforcing with your children that the letters a, e, i, o and u are vowels. Have a look at the photos to see the children sorting word cards.
