Today Primary 5 completed a spelling activity. All the spellings we looked at have the 'ee' sound. There are different letter patterns apart from 'ee' that make this sound. They include 'ea', 'y' and 'e'. After sorting some spellings by the letter patterns making the 'ee' sound the children practised their spellings. They wrote them horizontally and vertically sharing the first letter of the word. This took some concentration but Primary 5 all coped very well. There was some great dictation work completed today too on the 'ee' sound. Keep up this great work Primary 5. Miss Galloway is very proud of you all for working so hard on your spelling.
