No to food waste, yes to apple stew!
Today the Eco Committee went on an Eco walk around the school and spotted a fantastic crop of apples in our school orchard. We decided to harvest them and took them to our school chef, Mrs Bradley. She showed us some stewed apples she has just cooked and let us taste them. She told us she would make apple tarts for us, using our homegrown, organic apples. Zero food miles and a great taste!
Look at our photos and watch the videos to see what fun we had!
