This term our theme is, ‘Once Upon a Time’ and last week we were reading the ‘Three Little Pigs.’ Just like the three pigs, we worked in groups to make the straw house, stick house and brick houses, using Lego and bricks. The children worked well together to build their houses. Once they built the houses, we used a hairdryer to see if they would blow over. The straw house and the stick house blew down but the two brick houses stayed up. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity.
