During Play Based Learning, some children helped Mrs Cumberland carve out a pumpkin. Mrs Cumberland cut the top off the pumpkin, we then had to take all the pulp and seeds out from the inside. Mrs Cumberland cut out triangles for eyes, a triangle nose and a funny smile. Our class loved the pumpkin, we put a little candle inside and watched it glow. As a class we then read a story called The Pumpkin Patch Parabale, we really enjoyed the story.
