P3K - Technology Project - Making Windmills
In our world around us theme Time for A Change we looked at the topic of weather. We decided to focus our technology project on weather and the aim was to design and make model windmills. We wanted the turbines on our windmills to actually turn and spin around freely in the wind. We used card, sellotape, sugar paper and a split pin to create our model windmills. The children were so enthusiastic about making the windmills and we could hardly wait to go outside on a windy day to test if they worked! Have a look at the videos and pictures which follow to see and hear the excitement when the windmills turn!
