Today we were joined by our friends from St Brigid's to learn all about the history of man-made light. They worked really well in their groups to organise the pictures from the oldest caveman image to the latest LED bulb. It was an interesting task in which the pupils discovered how pivotal the 19th century was in the development of the light bulb and we were introduced to a very important scientist, Thomas Edison. We still have a few more shared lessons to go but its great to see how well the children are working together to complete their tasks!
