P7SG - Escape Room

25th Oct 2018

Oh no! We've gotten locked inside the Assembly Hall!

This was our problem, and our only was to escape was to solve a series of maths clues to find the keycode to open the door.  We worked in teams to solve these clues.  Once we had completed the activity, we discussed the skills we used and how well we worked as a team.

'We worked well as a team.  We listened to each other, one by one and this helped us to solve the clues.' (Alex)

'Looking for patterns help us with some of the clues.' (Cavan)

'When we didn't listen to each other we didn't work well as a team.  This made it hard to solve the clues.' (Ben)

'We didn't very well together at the start, but near the end we were able to find the answers as we listened to each other and took turns to speak.' (Malika)

Some of the problem solving skills we used were: looking for a pattern, working backwards, trial & improvement and the RUCSAC method.
