We were inspired by the work of Picasso, specifically his continuous line drawings, to create our paper straw sculptures.
Initially, we drew some continuous line self portraits. Using these as a guide, we created 3D portraits. We had to solve some problems, such as joining the straws or keeping the sculptures rigid, in order to finish our artwork.
We had great fun working together to make our final display.
