The children have enjoyed doing lots of fun science experiments in Quantum Kids Club. We have used a variety of everyday materials, that you might find at home, to create a series of reactions. We have made lava lamps in glasses, blown up balloons by mixing vinegar and baking soda, and made raisins “dance” in water. We explored the theme of magnetism by investigating which types of metal are magnetic and those that are not. It is an all boys club this year and it has been wonderful to see how engaged and enthusiastic they are about this club each week!
