It's really important that we take time to talk about the spellings being sent home each night. The children like to work with a partner and ask each other how to spell them and what they mean. We are learning homophones this week which makes it tricky to ask the spellings so we did a competition to see how quickly Lewis and Leah knew which word I was describing. Remember it's just as important to know how to use the word as it is to be able to spell it!
