Taking Care of the Nursery Fish

Every couple of weeks, the boys and girls in nursery help to clean out the nursery fish. They love helping the staff catch the fish, empty the tank and give the tank a good clean. These types of experiences help the children develop a sense of ownership and responsibility in their classroom and also encourages them to be careful, gentle and show empathy towards living things.
