When we were reading our class novel 'Under the Hawthorn Tree' by Marita Conlon-McKenna, we were really interested in what life would have been like for the children.
On Friday 9th December, we will be having Michael come into school to demonstrate some traditional home-making skills. He will be showing us how to make Potato Bread and possibly how butter was made. Hopefully, after Friday we'll have a much better idea about living in the 1800s. Keep an eye out for some pictures!
