Hello everyone! We are delighted to announce that Ballykeel Primary School will be performing Madagascar Jr as our school production this year.

Children from P5-P7 will be involved in a variety of ways - onstage in large roles, smaller roles, singing parts, speaking parts, voiceovers and backstage/behind the scenes jobs such as stagehands, helping with costumes/props, tickets etc.

The shows themselves will be performed on the evenings of Tuesday 24^th & Wednesday 25^th March, along with some daytime performances for the rest of the school. One of these performances will be filmed so we can sell DVDs to raise money for school funds.

Parents/Guardians of those who are taking part in the production will need to check the school website as we will be putting up on a weekly basis (by Friday afternoon) who is needed to rehearse and when – after-school rehearsals will start week beginning 12th January on  Mondays and Thursdays, but not everyone will be needed at every rehearsal. It is important that we have full commitment though from those who are given a role. As we get closer to the performances, some additional after-school rehearsals will also be needed.
