Happy Birthday to Northern Ireland! P5AR plant 3 centenary trees.
This year marks the centenary of Northern Ireland which was established in 1921. To celebrate this event, our Power Hour Club planted 3 trees in our school grounds. The first one, a cherry tree was planted in Mark Lynn’s memorial garden. The second one, a beautiful Liquidambar, was planted near the football pitches. Finally, the third tree, a cotoneaster, was planted in the Secret Garden.
We would like to thank the Northern Ireland Trees for Schools Scheme for providing these three trees free of charge. They are a great way to celebrate the formation of Northern Ireland.
