Primary 3 are continuing to learn their high frequency words. This week in class we are playing the 'Hot potato' game. A feely bag is passed round containing cards with high frequency words written on them. Children take it in turn to remove a card from the bag. If the child can read the word displayed on the card they get to keep it but if not the card is passed on to the next player. Play continues until a 'hot potato' card is selected. Unfortunately the child who selects this card has to put all the high frequency word cards they have collected back into the bag. Please continue to play games at home with your child to help reinforce their high frequency words as they are vitally important.
