Today the children were doing an investigation in Numeracy using money. The children had a target total of 10p or 20p and they had to fill a party bag to this amount. There were lots of possible outcomes or ways of doing this with all of the different items on offer to choose from. The children really impressed me with their use of number bonds and their excellent mental maths skills.
