Today in maths we completed another problem solving challenge. In groups we had to use our mental maths skills to add 4 numbers from a table to get the highest and lowest possible number. However, in the grid we could not go diagonally, we had to go either up, down or sideways. After the children agreed rear they really enjoyed this lesson.
