The girls’ football team took part in the BPSFA 8-a-side Cup on Wednesday 8th May in warm, sunny conditions at Ballymena Showgrounds – perfect for a football tournament!
Finishing 3rd in the group stage with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat meant qualification for the Shield quarter-finals. The girls gave it everything in their knock-out match against St Colmcille’s, but a narrow 1-0 defeat saw the team exit the competition at the quarter-final stage.
A huge well done to everyone who represented the school today - great performances throughout!
