Today we had a visit from Emma (Young Enterprise) who talked to us about our community. We discussed local businesses and how they positively impact the community.
Every child had the opportunity to contribute and discuss. We voted as a council on decisions such as what new business we would open.
We talked about working for and owning a business. Then we were given the chance to speak to James who is a local business owner. We learned about his Mortgage company and all the skills he uses in this role.
This was such a fun and interesting day. We learned so much about how to contribute to our local community and what makes a successful business. We now know the skills we need to work on to make our community better.
