P5BE Measuring Madness

P5BE have been learning how to measures distances. Before we measured, we firstly estimated the distances.  We have used rulers correctly to measure lines, and uses string to measure curved lines (and then we measure the string against the ruler to work out the distance). We have also used measuring tapes to measure larger, curved shapes and we had fun using a trundle wheel to measure the distance around the playground and the distance from our classroom to the canteen. We have measured in cm and in m.

We will be using our skills to complete a maths investigation about jumping.
