We had fun today recapping the fraction facts we studied this week. We learned how colour can help us to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers. This was really useful to help us to convert accurately.
We have been learning about equivalent fractions, and today we worked in groups to complete our Christmas Fraction Picture. We have to find simplify fractions to their lowest terms and colour them accordingly. Each person had a quarter of a picture which made a whole when we put it together.
We also enjoy working in groups as its useful to discuss what we're learning with our friends.
